I don’t know why I was drawn to look up the definition of “HOME” but this “house” says it all…definition: “The focus of one's domestic attention” …I can see that…Not just a stucco home in the neighborhood of stucco homes, but with a double car garage plus a golf cart garage. Decorative and unique rain chains adorn in lieu of downspouts. This home is at the back of the cul-de-sac for privacy, extra parking and safer entry to traffic. The pavers in the drive and walkway take you to this fantastically Expanded Gardenia Model home with side light and leaded glass front door, sharing the superior features: such as…crown molding throughout…18-inch ceramic tile flooring in kitchen and baths, with a marble island and custom dark java cabinets. The kitchen features some glass front accent doors with pull out shelving and pantry. Under counter lighting and ceramic backsplash also add to the kitchen. Plank flooring in the huge living room/dining room 30 feet by 16 feet…opens the floor plan. The couple living here adore their neighborhood but have decided to move near their children and grandkids. They added a well-designed 30 by 11.5 foot stretched lanai by raising the floor and changing the roof to incorporate it into the flow of the home for extra entertainment space. There are four, count them, four sliding glass doors that disappear into the walls opening the lanai to the home as you gaze out at the tranquil green open space behind. 17 glass panels enclose it with several sliding and screened panels for fresh air. Actually, the rear middle four doors slide to completely open you up for a potential birdcage and pool addition. Step out onto a paved patio for grilling and private seating. The great thing about the lanai is that it faces East...thereby eliminating the boiling afternoon sun. Plantation shutters adorn the four arched windows in the front of the home. One large double in the breakfast nook and three on the large expanded bay windows of the guest bedroom. I think you’ll love the new unique carpet in the primary 18x13.5-foot bedroom which also features dual closets with custom built-in shelving and cabinets along with the sit-in Roman shower. Softly lit trey ceilings adorn the primary along with the front guest bedroom. A custom closet also enhances the guest bedroom to invite guests to stay longer. The third bedroom features a unique desk/office area since the closet has been removed for the construction. The garage is huge…28 X 20 feet with epoxy flooring and an additional 4 foot by 9-foot workshop. Laundry room has built in cabinets and drawer storage matching the kitchen cabinets. There are solar tubes for lighting in both primary closets, in the laundry room and the kitchen. Rock landscaping surrounds the home quite tastefully. I measured the total house and with the garage and lanai, it measures 3, 830 sq feet. Several personal items are negotiable such as the table and chairs in the kitchen, dining room side boards, lounge chairs, and golf cart to name a few.
