The deeded, covered carport parking is #57 on the right side and there is ample parking for guests and a second vehicle. The utilities are inexpensive, FPL $60 and Internet $47 monthly. The interior insurance costs $861 annually. Privateer South is a gated community directly on the beach with a community pool, spa, social room, catering Kitchen, fitness center, bicycle storage room, golf club storage room, and two guest suites. Just outside the community room is a new Paver patio with tables and chairs for dining and relaxing. Two new Webber Grills will be added for cooking very soon. There is an on-site full time Manager and technical director. Privateer South only has five full time residents year round. The other 56 unit owners are seasonal or part time. There are no pets allowed on property and a unit owner cannot rent prior to three years of ownership. After that, there is a waiting list and a three-month minimum.
